Serious assault
Detectives in Limavady are appealing for information following a serious assault in the Rathbrady Road area of Limavady in the early hours of Sunday morning, April 15.
Shortly after 3am Police discovered two injured men in the area of Rathbrady Road. The men, both aged 36, were taken to hospital for treatment for their injuries. One of the men sustained a suspected fractured skull, broken jaw and cheekbone in the incident. The second man sustained an injury to the back of his head. An 18-year-old man has been arrested and is currently assisting Police with their enquiries.
Police would appeal to anyone who witnessed this incident or anyone who was in the Rathbrady Road at the time and seen anything suspicious to contact them at CID Limavady on 0845 600 8000.
