PSNI investigate fires

The PSNI in Foyle are investigating a number of fires in the city area, and have appealed for help in solving the crimes.

They want to hear from anyone with information on a red Volkswagen Passat, LKZ 4889, found on fire in the area of Carranbane Walk shortly before 7pm on February 14.

The City North Neighbourhood Team is keen to speak to anyone with information about the incident.

Meanwhile, a car and a campervan were damaged in a fire at a property on the Ballyhanedin Road just before 6am on February 8. It is believed the fire was started deliberately and that a vehicle was seen in the area prior to the fire being reported.
