Masked men force entry to Newtownabbey home

Detectives are appealing for information following the report of an incident at a flat in the Mill Road area of Newtownabbey.

It was reported that three masked males, claiming to represent a paramilitary organisation, forced entry to the flat at around 8.20pm on Friday (December 18).

A PSNI spokesperson said: “The men conducted a search of the property before taking mobile phones from the two occupants.

“The males then left the flat and are believed to have left the area in a black Mercedes car, which had been parked outside. Neither of the occupants, a man and a woman, were injured as a result of the incident.
