Council funding for coaching award
LARNE Council has allocated a grant of £126 to help a local resident achieve a Level Two netball coaching award.
Catriona Mills, who assists at Glens Netball Club, applied for financial support from the local authority’s Supporting Sport Small Grants scheme. The funding will help pay for course fees and travel.
The current annual budget for the small grants scheme is £8,400, and to date the council has issued grants totalling £6,088.90.
