Community fun day

A COMMUNITY Family Fun Day is to be held at St John's Church this Saturday.

The event will run at the church on Sloan Street from 11am until 3pm, with a barbecue from 12 noon to 1pm.

A Wizard of Oz Fancy Dress Parade will start at 11.30am. Live animals will also be making an appearance.

Various other activities for all the family will run throughout, such as face painting, games, balloon modelling, a puppet show and a climbing wall. There will also be a bouncy castle and a penalty shootout.

Free activities and light refreshments will be available all day and admission to the day’s activities is free.
