Colourful parade kicks off Larne Summer Festival

The Larne Summer Festival got off to a colourful start on Saturday as schools, groups and clubs participated in the colourful carnival parade, which marked the start of a month-long programme of events.

Larne Main Street provided the backdrop for the spectacular parade as stilt walkers, street performers and face painters joined local groups in kicking off the festival, including Cairncastle Primary School, 7th Larne Scout Group, Larne Rugby and Football Club, Larne Mini Rugby, Uplift Performing Arts Group, The Music Yard, St Kilian’s College, Larne and Inver Primary School, Larne YMCA, Larne RNLI and the Antrim Coast Lions.
