Christmas Open Day at Corrymeela

Children and adults of all ages are invited to attend a Christmas Open Day on Sunday, 15 December from 2pm to 5pm at Corrymeela Ballycastle.

The afternoon will be filled with rich and wonderful experiences for the whole family.

Rumour has it that Santa will be arriving at 2:30 to meet the children and will be meeting the wee ones until 4:30 in his very own grotto. But the big guy in red isn’t the only activity to enjoy while you’re here. Stay to hear all sorts of wonderful musicians and see puppet plays in front of the fire.

Be enchanted by a pantomime, make your own Christmas crafts, or go on an elf hunt. And you don’t have to be a professional artist to channel your creativity and contribute to a community mural. In our laid-back coffee house atmosphere, you and your family can pick up a tea or coffee to enjoy with our array of festive foods and some light music. You can also take a walk around our labyrinth of luminaries or visit our memory tree to honour the reflective side of this season.

These are just a few of the festivities that will surround this magical celebration that is sure to provide your family with many wonderful Christmas memories. Doors open at 2pm and entry is free, although donations are greatly appreciated. We also invite you to bring a small gift for our charity Christmas gift drop which helps families in need at Christmas.

We look forward to seeing you there! To find out more about the Corrymeela Christmas Open Day please visit our website at www.corrymeela.org or phone us at 02820762626.
