Hide AdChurch collections took place across Larne and the money continues to come in from all places across the district. By raising money through these events, Christian Aid can continue to work with local organisations around the world to help provide a better future for those who are less fortunate.
This year’s focus of Christian Aid Week is on a rural village called Gbap, situated in Sierra Leone. The village was impoverished but through Christian Aid’s work, the locals were able to create a sustainable source of food and the village is now thriving.
