The firewalk will take place at Da Vinci’s Hotel complex, on Wednesday, March 9, with the aim of raising money to help children living in conflict zones.

Participants who take up the challenge, will walk across hot embers, that’s only after a two-hour training seminar.

“Although the challenge requires brave and enthusiastic supporters to take part, a specialised company will make sure the event is run professionally and safely, said Children in Crossfire coordinator Eileen Warren.

One by one participants will walk across a 20 feet long fire bed and after the event the firewalkers will each receive their Firewalk Certificates.

Training will begin at 6pm and the sponsorship goal for the event is £140.
