One of the world’s largest financial centres, the city is home to over half of the UK’s top 100 listed companies and offers fascinating visit opportunities for students, according to the school.

Whilst there the pupils were given a guided tour of the new award-winning PwC (PriceWaterhouseCoopers) building and a talk on the opportunities offered to school leavers through the firm’s Higher Apprenticeship scheme.

This was followed by a walking tour of Canary Wharf and a visit to the London Metal Exchange where the pupils were able to watch the LME members in action on the open-outcry trading floor. The trip culminated in a visit to the West End to watch The Lion King, which the school said was a fantastic performance that was enjoyed by all.
