Banned for not having a licence
A MAGHERALIN man was banned from driving for 12 months after failing to appear last Thursday at Craigavon court.
Forty-one-year-old Samuel Carey, of Acres Road, Magheralin, was also fined 50 for not having a driving licence on July 4 last year and 50 for failing to wear a seat belt.
The defendant did not appear at a previous court and last week the case went ahead in his absence.
The court heard he was seen driving a Range Rover without wearing his seat belt and he was asked to produce his driving licence but did not do so.
