B90 speed limit change at Woodburn scrapped
Knockagh Councillor Andrew Wilson has welcomed a “u-turn” by TransportNI in relation to a proposed increase in speed limit on a section of the B90.
The Ulster Unionist representative wrote to the Department of Regional Development expressing shock at its plan to raise the limit from 30mph to 40mph on the route at Woodburn Road, which facilitates Woodburn Primary School.
Mr Wilson, who is a member of Mid and East Antrim Policing and Community Safety Partnership and a Woodburn PS governor, said: “The right decision has been reached.”
