Appeal for missing horse

POLICE have issued an appeal to locate a male horse last seen in Cookstown.

The horse is 16/17 years old, 14’3” in height, chestnut brown in colour with a small white patch on its head. It answers to the name ‘Captain’ and its mane was recently cut by scissors which is not the traditional method.

This horse was last seen on 20 January in a field off the Dungannon Road, Cookstown, between T.J. Hamilton Volkswagen and The Kingsbridge Service Station, where it had been situated in for 3-4 years.
