Victim Support seeks volunteers

Victim Support NI is seeking volunteers to support victims and witnesses of crime in their local communities and courts.

The charity is aiming to recruit people to volunteer in their Ballymena and general Antrim area community and court services.

Victim Support NI’s Katherine McCrory said: “Without volunteers, we simply wouldn’t be able to help the many people who need support having been victims or witnesses of crime in the Antrim area.

“At Victim Support NI we provide free and confidential information, emotional support and practical help whether or not the crime has been reported to the police.

“If you are good with people and have a few hours to spare, we’d love to have you on board. If you’d like to find out more about what we do and are interested in volunteering pop into our Broughshane Street Office in Ballymena or call 028 2563 0784.”
