Wendy McCullough, Interim Manager at Coleraine Leisure Centre is encouraging the Coleraine public to attend on Saturday, she said: The Leisure Centre caters for all age groups from the very young to the young at heart. People are becoming increasingly conscious of their health and lifestyle and this is demonstrated in the uptake of the classes and activities at the centre.

“We are regularly adding new classes to our weekly timetable, along with the very popular Spin and aquatic classes; we have recently started a Kettlebells class and a Hoop class. The Leisure Centre also boasts a well appointed gym with a number of revolutionary cardio-vascular machines, including several tread mills, upright and recumbent cycles, rowers and step machines. Also available is a full complement of resistance machines and free weights.”

Wendy added: “The Open Day was organised by the centre’s Improvement Team in a bid to engage with local people and encourage them to make positive changes to their lifestyle. Come along on Saturday to find out how to get in shape for summer, to tone up or to enjoy the benefits of a more active life, you could even be in with a chance of winning a year’s free membership at our gym.”
