NI pharmacy’s alert after staff member tests COVID-19 positive

Northern Pharmacies, based at Brownlow Health Centre in Craigavon, revealed that it was informed this morning that a member of staff had tested positive for COVID-19.
It said the pharmacy would be inaccessible to the public until further notice but would be arranging to help those due a weekly or daily item on prescription.

Hide AdIn a statement Northern Pharmacies said: “We have just discovered early this morning that a colleague has test positive for covid 19. The pharmacy will be inaccessible to the public until further notice under pha guidelines.
“If you are due a weekly or daily item ONLY we do have a very small team arranged to allow this service to continue.
“The team have not been in contact with the source and we are satisfied there is no risk to the public.
“We will not have capacity to process prescriptions ordered over the weekend or today until further notice but we will update you as soon as possible.

Hide Ad“However - if your prescription is sent down to us from the GPs and you need it filled urgently you can collect the prescription itself and take it elsewhere - our skeleton team who have not had contact with the source will be there to arrange this.
“Thank you for your patience and understanding at this very difficult time for our staff.”
