Killowen Primary School pupils have hit the big screen!

Pupils from the Coleraine school feature in a new film which highlights the happy and safe environment of the school, that sits on the banks of the River Bann.

Filmed by Naomi Fleming, the film features the new school song, which was released last year.

Principal Arlene Moon explained: “Last year’s P7s came up with the idea of a school song. The P7s felt that a song would bring all of the pupils together, and in years to come former pupils would have a link with their old Primary School.

“Thanks to local muscian Ian Hannah, music was composed to fit with the words of the song, and the school choir proudly performed it for the first time last year. It’s great that we now also have a video showcasing our wonderful school to go with the song.”
