Ballintoy goes pink for Giro D’Italia
Councillor Cara McShane said: “Our communities are really buoyed up by this huge cycling event which is passing through most of Moyle District Council area on Saturday 10th May.
“The council has been leading workshops across the district to help promote the event and to dress the towns and villages in pink.

Hide Ad“Hundreds of businesses are taking part in a best dressed window display; community groups; schools and sporting organisations have already started planning events in the lead up to the Giro.
“This is a global sporting event, which will be watched by millions of people across the globe so is a great opportunity to showcase Moyle to the world.
“It is also an opportunity to treat the thousands of tourists expected to our heritage, culture, cuisine, hospitality, our scenery and our landmarks.
“For locals of course it will be an opportunity to witness this global sporting event on our doorsteps.”
