West Side Story kicks off total of six exciting new MADS shows
MADS! will be performing an astonishing six shows over the next few months, with an impressive and exciting programme for old and young to enjoy.
And the door is still open for new members to join this dynamic group.

Hide AdShow producer Kieran Corr said: “The society decided to plan for our Autumn/Winter programme with shows that would cover all ages.
“First up we have the classic musical, West Side Story, which takes place this weekend in Portadown Town Hall Theatre. The show opens on Thursday 3rd September at 7.30pm, with performances on Friday 4th at 7.30pm, Saturday 5th at 7.30pm and 2.30pm and 7.30pm on Sunday 6th September.
“We have a fabulous cast for this production, who have worked so hard during the summer, and the live orchestra sounds incredible. The production team and cast have put together another great show for the people of Craigavon. Many of the cast starred in Les Miserables School Edition last year.
“Tickets are now on sale at Print Business Supplies, Lurgan, The House of Sport in Gilpinstown Retail Park, Greenes Nisa Local at the Legahory Centre, and Winnies Newsagents, Portadown. Tickets cost £8 and £6 for under 16s and OAPS. You can also come along and pay at the door and have your sear allocated on the night.

Hide Ad“Our doors re-open this Saturday 5th September, and anyone in nursery up to 19 years old is welcome.
“MADS! new teenage sections also starts this Saturday and is for anyone in year 9 in secondary school and over up to 19 years old, and members will be performing Fame Jr in February 2016.
“MADS! Kids also starts back for anyone in nursery up to year 9 in secondary school and they will be performing The Jungle Book in November of this year. The kids’ drama is earlier with a 9.30am start to 11.30am. The last date to join is Saturday 19th September.
“We are delighted to announce that, due to popular demand, we will be hosting Strictly Craigavon Dancing at Craigavon Civic Centre on Saturday 12th December.

Hide Ad“The full list of dance couples will be revealed very shortly. Then in April of 2016 the drama society will be the first group in Northern Ireland to perform ‘Rock of Ages’. This show will take place at The Market Place Theatre Armagh and we hope to have as many performers as possible aged 16 and over in this show.
“Finally the society are delighted to be the first drama society in Armagh to get the copyrights to perform Legally Blonde the Musical in September of 2016. The list of shows will provide anyone interested in Musical Theatre an opportunity to perform on stage.”
