Armagh-born singer Mícheál Quinn will be the guest of the Derry Traditional Singers Circle for their monthly session on Thursday, April 7.
Says member, Vincent Strunks: “Our special guest this month will be Mícheál Quinn from Mullaghbawn now living in Leixlip.
“Mícheál is the son of the Late Micheal Ned Quinn RIP, renowned singer and storyteller.
“Mícheál is however a great singer in his own right and is a welcome guest at sessions the length and breadth of the country.
“His reputation as a traditional singer is well founded and we are looking forward to hearing his singing and crack at our session. Our regular singers will also be in fine voice.
“This promises to be a great session so everyone, singers and listeners are most welcome so come early so ensure a good seat.”
The session starts at 9pm in Tinney’s Bar, Patrick Street.
