A FANTASTIC range of sporting memorabilia - from soccer star Darron Gibson's Manchester United jersey to welterweight champion Paul McCloskey's boxing gloves - are to be auctioned off for charity this September.
The charity ball is being organised by ZEST - a local counselling and support service for those affected by self-harm and suicide - and will take place on World Suicide Prevention Day on September 10.
The newly refurbished Waterfoot Hotel will provide the venue for the auction. Amongst the glittering array of highly collectible sporting items on sale is a signed Paul Scholes Manchester United jersey and a signed Rangers FC ball and Kyle Lafferty picture.
A signed and framed Celtic FC shirt from the 2001 domestic treble season and a signed Celtic FC Ball will also be up for grabs.
Other valuable items include a signed pair of Frankie Dettori jockey trousers and a signed Tyrone GAA jersey.
The auction takes place at the Waterfoot Hotel on Thursday, September 10 and will coincide with World Suicide Prevention Day. Tickets are 50 each and include a five course meal, auction and music.
