Playing in perfect conditions, Stephen Orr (11) celebrated his first win in this years Sunday Society at City of Derry with a great score of 39 points.
Paul McIntosh (11) lead the chasing pack with 38 points to finish in second spot and G Baldrick (17) with 36 points was third after a break of tie finish.
John O’Doherty (12), Greens Convenor was the clear winner by three points over Brian Crossan (20) and Graham Hepburn (4) in Saturday’s Confined Stableford competition.
The 12 handicapper scored an impressive 39 points, while Crossan and Hepburn both finish with 36 points.
While in near perfect conditions Jason Cleere (17) amassed 41 points on the long Prehen course in last week’s Thursday Society competition.
Runner up on 40 points was former skipper, Martin McNulty (11) with Eamon McCourt (11) a further point back in third spot. Winners please note that all vouchers for October will be deposited in their accounts.
Meanwhile Martin McLaughlin (10), took top honours in last week’s outing of the North-West Thursday Society.
