It is with deep regret that the Council and members of City of Derry Golf Club have learned of the sad passing of club stalwart and Past Captain, Mr Robbie Kennelly.

Robbie will be sorely missed by his many friends at City of Derry Golf Club and in the wider golfing community.

At this time everyone at the Prehen club like to send their condolences to his wife Margo.

His funeral takes place tomorrow (Thursday) in Saint Columb’s Church, Chapel Road, at 10am.

Meanwhile the ever popular member, Martin Doherty was the clear winner by three points in Saturday’s Stableford competition at Prehen; second spot went to Les Dickson and Rob Jefferson finished in third place.

Maintaining his great run of form, once again Michael McShane took the top spot in this weeks Sunday Society with Robert Glackin and Brendan Duffy losing out on break of tie.
