The Eglinton and District Darts League annual league individuals competition takes place tomorrow (Thursday) in the Happy Landing, Eglinton.
All players looking to throw for this much sought after title are advised to be there on time and be registered for the night to be run successfully so all captains will be reminded over next couple of days to contact there players and advise to be present at 8pm at the very latest on the night and latecomers will automatically be excluded from the draw.
Captains can also check if they are unsure about whether any of there players will not be allowed to play which depends on there overall number of games played since the season started early September 2014 up to this week.
Entrance Fee is £3 per player and Prize Money on offer is as follows: £200 in total for Winner, Runner Up and two semi finalists and Shield for Winner.
The league chairman for reasons of fairness will decide who can enter depending on commitment of players throughout the season so individual players or there team captains can contact the Chairman to check who is eligible to play or not players who can throw on the night need have to played games in first of season and in the second half and entered into team cups, memorial, pairs . and shown a certain level of commitment up to this date.
If any players are unsure if they can or cannot enter due to number of games played then please ask before the night rather than be turned down at registration stage.
Last year’s winner Gerard Curley is again expected to take part in this year’s competition.
