There will also be Club Stableford competitions tomorrow (Thursday) and Sunday.

Another hectic week at Roe Park saw plenty of golfers turning out to avail of the ever improving summer weather.

There was plenty to play for with three club competitions and a Mixed Open Greensomes.

First up was a Club Stableford on Thursday and Stevie Hamill showed that his recent win was no fluke as he won once more with another fantastic score of 41 points. A brilliant back nine score of 23 points included a birdie at the 12th followed by a superb eagle at the par four 15th. Liam Berryman was runner-up with the same score having just been beaten via count back and young Jamie Cochrane was third with a fine 39 points.

Saturday saw a Club Stableford sponsored by The Tile Shop which was won by Ruari O’Connor who scored 41 points. Trevor Thompson placed second with 39 points and Cathal McNicholl was third with 38 points. Andy Young scored some more valuable Golfer of the Year points as he won the gross prize.

McAtamneys Butchers sponsored a Mixed Open Greensomes on Sunday which was won by Vice-Captain Arnold Simpson and playing partner Estelle Rose.
