Following the Annual General Meeting of Institute FC Bill Anderson and Andrew Russell have been appointed new Chairman and Vice Chairman respectively.
In his opening speech, Mr Anderson, who has been working at the youth level at the club for a number of years, said: “I’m delighted to have been selected as the new Chairman and I promise to do my best in the position.
“I want to help the club move from strength to strength so that we can return to the Premiership as soon as possible.
“In my role I want to ensure that all members of Institute have a voice and I’d like to thank all the coaches for their hard work.”
The committee will meet again later this week to discussion the long term plan for the club and step up their attempts of appointing a new manager.
Mr Russell also stated that everyone at the club would like to thank both Keith McElhinney and Trevor Hewitt for all their hard work and dedication over the years, after the pair stepped down from the Chairman and Vice Chairman’s positions respectively.
