North West football fans could have warned English Premier League sides about Manchester United’s latest sensation Marcus Rashford.
The teenager, who scored another super goal for Louis Van Gaal’s side at West Ham United in the FA Cup on Wednesday night, scored a similar wonder goal at the Brandywell in the 2014 Milk Cup.
In that competition Rashford netted four goals for United U17’s side.
His United team-mate Michael Carrick believes the striker has a big future ahead of him.
“He’s still got his feet firmly on the ground,” Carrick told Talksport.
“He keeps coming in, he doesn’t change, he works hard, he listens, he’s willing to learn and I think he’s got a great chance of staying at the top for a long time.
“I don’t think it’s a flash in the pan, in and out. I think he’s here to stay and goals like that, we’ll welcome more of them.”
