Eglinton looking to regain major darts title

THIS week the annual county darts tournament in which Eglinton, Limavady, Coleraine and Garvagh will compete for top honours will take place in JT's bar Dungiven.

Eglinton hold the title after a great victory over Coleraine in last years final. Eglinton have become very much well organised team thanks to the commitment of Ronan McKinney. The Eglinton league is now amongst the top leagues in the country with players like Daryl Gourney and Cample Jackson who are now amongst the top players in the country. Eglinton will be no push over and come Saturday will be up for the occasion. Coleraine will be all out to prove they are now up with the best in the country. Coleraine have a team which are competing at top level on a weekly basis. They to have some fine individual players in Barry McLaughlin and Damien Norton to name a few. Coleraine will be all out to revenge there defeat in last years final. The surprise package may this year may well come from Limavady who have more than enough talent to compete any where I the country. If captain John Moore turns up with a full squad then both Coleraine and Eglinton will need to be at there best to over power some of the best players in the country. Limavady have a lot of experience in IDanny O'Neill, J Moore, L Doherty, J Donnelly, M Moore and not forgetting the talent of A McTaggart and Paul Brown. Garvagh are struggling at the moment and unfortunately have just informed me they will not make this years event.
