Kids can eat for just £1 at this Italian restaurant during half term - here's how

Keeping the kids entertained over half term can be tricky, but treating them to a meal out is a sure way to keep them happy - and it could only set you back a mere £1.

Carluccio's Italian is offering the meals for just £1 to kids who aged 10 years or under over the February half term.

What does the offer include?

The offer applies to parents who have ordered a main meal themselves and gives children a choice of classic Italian favourites, including pasta with ragu, meatballs, or pesto, ham and pea risotto, or a creamy lasagne.

To finish, kids also get their pick from a choice of desserts, such as Italian sorbet or yoghurt with fresh berries.

Kids can keep themselves entertained while they wait for the meal with Carluccio’s at-table activity packs.

Parents will also be well catered for and can treat themselves to the chef's specials menu, celebrating vibrant rhubarb as it comes into season.

Inspired by Italian favourites, the menu includes cacio e pepe fritti, crispy fried ravioli filled with cheese and black pepper served with a rich rhubarb dipping sauce, or the risotto verde with radishes, crème fraîche and mint.

For dessert, parents can enjoy a panna cotta with poached rhubarb and orange syrup to welcome spring.

How to claim it

The offer is available with every adult main and children must be aged 10 years or younger.

The deal is only available during half-term week (17 - 23 Feb), from 12 noon till 5pm.

The Italian chain, founded in 1999 by Antonio Carluccio started out as a small Italian cafe. Today the company has over 70 restaurants in the UK. To find your nearest Caluccio's, visit their website.
