There will be some sunshine this evening, with any showers dying away. Then the rest of the night will be dry with some lengthy clear periods. It will be cold with some patchy frost and a minimum temperature of 2 °C.

After a dry start on Saturday, cloud will bubble up in the morning to give a few scattered showers, but these will die out in the evening. Some places will stay dry and the maximum temperature will be 12 °C.

The outlook for Sunday and the Monday bank holiday is for sunny periods and the odd shower on Sunday. Widespread rain will spread east on Monday followed by showery weather on Tuesday.

The pollen count remains at medium until Monday, when it is due to dip to a low level. Tree pollen remains in peak season, with the main types being birch and ash. Spores will increase temporarily after rain.
