Watch: Wonder Villains welcome Napoli and Italy legend Gianfranco Zola to the team

Londonderry band, the Wonder Villains, have achieved something of a coup by persuading Napoli and Italy legend Gianfranco Zola to appear in a surprise new video for their single, which was penned in his honour.

The band teamed up with the man who served his apprenticeship with Diego Maradona at Naples, before going on to star with Parma and Chelsea, in order to promote their debut album, ‘Rocky.’

Cheylene Murphy of the Wonder Villains says: “Considering we started this band while we were doing our GCSEs, we wanted to play some schools in the North West and maybe inspire some new kids to start pop bands.

“Plus it’s nearly summer and everyone loves an end of year school treat!”
