A teenager has admitted driving a car through the wall of a local primary school.

Sean McConnell, of Roskeen Park, pleaded guilty to driving with excess alcohol, taking a car without authority and driving without due car and attention.

The 18-year-old also admitted having no licence or insurance and fail to stop or remain at the scene an accident.

The court heard the teenager, who attends a special needs school, took a family member’ car without permission.

He was disqualified from driving, the length of which will be determined at the next hearing.
