It has been revealed that Old School Hall at Strand Road Presbyterian Church may be used to host the 2016 Presbytery Sunday Schools Rally.
Clerk of Presbytery, Rev Dr Robert Buick, told the Presbytery of Derry and Donegal that holding the rally there would be an opportunity for Sunday Schools to see what the SS Project has been funding.
Rev Dr Buick said the ‘Exodus’ initiative was based at the premises and members were considering basing their work in the north west from the Old School Hall.
Andy Lamberton, the north west development officer and his team work from the premises and, Rev Dr Buick said, was available to engage in young adults and youth work from there, reaching out to students at Magee, the North West Regional College and those in the area during both day and night.
He said the Presbytery was also looking at the possibility of running Christianity Explored/Alpha courses, Bible Studies classes and the, Mothers and Tots groups there.
