Bar-wielding youths wrecked a mobile shop in Londonderry before fleeing empty handed on Monday (February 2), according to the PSNI.

Describing the incident, which occurred in Carnhill, Detective Inspector David McQuade said: “At around 8pm on Monday, 2nd, two youths carrying iron bars entered the shop and demanded money from staff members.
