Detectives from Serious Crime Branch investigating a series of offences committed at the wake and subsequent funeral of Peggy O’Hara have released a 53-year-old man and 44-year-old woman arrested on Wednesday, September 16.
They were released unconditionally.
Both individuals were taken to the Serious Crime Suite at Antrim Police Station for questioning.
Detectives also carried out searches in the Creggan area of Londonderry on Wednesday morning and removed a number of items for examination.
The Senior Investigating Officer, Detective Inspector Philip Montgomery reissued an appeal for information about the appearance of gunmen at the wake and the appearance of people in paramilitary-style uniforms at the funeral in July.
