Foyle police say they are hoping to hear from possible witnesses to a number of burglaries which have taken place in the Londonderry area recently.
A PSNI spokesman said Detectives are currently investigating reports of burglaries at houses in the Woodbrook area of the city in the early hours of Monday, April 25.
“Entry was gained to two houses and an attempt was made to enter a third,” the spokesman said.
“Police believe that the incidents happened sometime between the hours of 1.45am and 7am.”
He said computer equipment was reported stolen from two of the properties involved.
“A male wearing dark clothing and a hat was seen in the area at the time of the incidents and police would be keen to speak with this man.
“Police would also appeal to anyone who observed any suspicious activity in the area to contact detectives at Strand Road on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
