Detectives have appealed for information following an explosion at Lincoln Courts on Saturday evening, October 3, which is being treated as a hate crime.
Just after 10.10pm, it is believed a pipe bomb was placed on the windowsill of a house, which exploded, smashing the window. A female occupant in her 20s was not injured in the incident.
Army technical officers attended and five homes were evacuated.
Detective Inspector Stewart said: “We are lucky that no-one was injured by this device, or by the window smashing. This is being treated as a sectarian hate crime.”
Anyone with information can use the non emergency number 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
