Massgoers’ cars raided in Park


Money and a handbag were stolen after thieves raided the cars of massgoers in Park.

Police in Strabane are appealing for information about the thefts.

Constable Lyons, the investigating officer, said: “Two cars were targeted while the drivers were attending a service at St Mary’s Church, Altinure Road, between 5.45pm and 6.30pm. Money and a handbag were stolen.

“Later, a handbag was recovered by police abandoned at Drumrane Road, Limavady.”
