A 25-year-old man has appeared in court accused of possessing £21,000 of drugs.
Gavin Mark Patrick Fisher, whose address was given on court papers as c/o Maghaberry, is charged with possessing cocaine and clephedrone with intent to supply.
He is further charged with simple possession of class A and class B drugs on July 1.
It is alleged a block of cocaine worth £12,000 and 435 grams of clephedrone worth £9,000 were found during a search.
An investigating officer told Londonderry Magistrates’ Court he believed he could connect Fisher to the charges.
The officer alleged there was a DNA particle on a knot of a bag linking Fisher to the class B drug.
Defence solicitor Paddy MacDermott told the court there would be no bail application at this time.
Fisher was remanded in custody to appear in court again on December 3.
