St Columb’s Cathedral is to host a series of hour-long, lunchtime panel discussions this Lent as part of its contribution to the Diocese of Derry and Raphoe’s ‘Year of Opportunity 2016’.

Throughout the year, parishes all across the diocese will be focusing on mission, generosity and children, and these will form the themes of the Cathedral’s lunchtime events.

The series, which include lunch, will begin tomorrow, Thursday, February 11, when Anita Robinson, Dr Aine Downey and Ken Thatcher will answer questions on the theme of ‘children’. On February 25 the theme is ‘generosity’ and on March 10 it is ‘mission’.

They begin at 1.05pm and will be chaired by Diocesan Communications Officer Paul McFadden.

The events will also include hymns and scripture readings.

A light lunch will be provided and all are welcome to attend.
