Gang of 4 put man’s shoulder out in Bog


A gang put a man’s shoulder out in an attack in the Bogside area in the early hours of Monday, September 21.

Constable Lowe, the investigating officer, said that at about 2.30am, the man, aged in his 20s, was assaulted at Westland Street.

Four assailants were involved.

“As a result of this assault the man sustained a dislocated left shoulder,” said the investigating officer.

“The only description he could over is that all four assailants were wearing jeans,” he said.

Police are appealing for information..
