The VOID Engage Programme, is dedicated to creating connections with older people and the arts and will deliver a 12-week mixed media visual arts project to five groups of older people working with local artist facilitators.
Waterside Theatre Company will work with 24 older men, in a neighbourhood renewal area of the Waterside, to deliver visual arts printing workshops and produce 24 pieces to be publicly exhibited in Cascade Gallery at the Waterside Theatre, while the Council will deliver ‘Arts For The Third Age – Music to Your Ears’, a six-month project designed to engage 70 participants in music and crafts.
