Everyone’s favourite festive music will once again light up The Playhouse this Christmas for the annual evening of song with Colmcille Ladies Choir.
Colmcille Ladies Choir and The Playhouse will present the festive evening of Christmas music and verse in aid of Foyle Hospice on Friday, December 18.
The evening annually marks the anniversary of the passing of Sister Aloysius McVeigh of the Sisters of Mercy, the much loved iconographer and artist in residence at The Playhouse.
“This exceptional night of seasonal music is always such a treat, a real celebration of the season of goodwill” Pauline Ross at The Playhouse said.
”For 40 years the Colmcille Ladies Choir have brought their exquisite music and talents to this city, from Bishop Daly’s Golden Jubilee and their Christmas Spectacular, both of which were held in St Columb’s Hall, to Westminster Cathedral, the Notre Dame in Paris, and Washington Cathedral”. Tickets for An Evening of Christmas Music at The Playhouse on Friday, December 18 at 8pm are £8 (proceeds to Foyle Hospice) and are available from The Playhouse Box Office on (028)71268027 or online at www.derryplayhouse.co.uk.
