Death of Conall Kerrigan in city centre unexplained

The death of 25-year-old, Conall Kerrigan, discovered in the centre of Londonderry on Sunday night, is being treated as unexplained by the PSNI.

Police are currently investigating the sudden death of the man in the Bank Place area.



His body was discovered around 10.20pm.

It is believed Conall had been in the Metro Bar on Saturday evening and left at around 2am on Sunday morning.

Detective Inspector Conor McStravick is appealing for anyone who seen Conall after he left the Metro bar or anyone who witnessed any form of altercation on the walls close to Millennium Forum during the early hours of Sunday morning to contact Detectives in Strand Road on the non-emergency number 101. Information can also be passed anonymously via the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
