Over a dozen local properties including cut-price four bedroom houses with remarkable views of Lough Swilly, the Atlantic and the River Foyle will be auctioned off in Dublin on Wednesday, July 8.
The properties - including lots from St Johnston, Manorcunningham, Burnfoot, Carndonagh, Culdaff, Castlefin and Letterkenny - will go under the hammer in the Allsop auction in the RDS.
All have asking prices of less than 100,000 euros.
For example, a four bedroom detached house located at Tooban Upper, Burnfoot, overlooking Inch Island and the Swilly is being offered for a minimum of 50,000 euros although it’s advised the property is “shell and core and is in need of internal completion/fit out.”
Other properties, however, whilst they haven’t been inspected by Allsop are to a lesser or greater extent complete and ready for habitation, including a four bedroom semi-detached property at 5 Churchview Street, St Johnston, which overlooks the River Foyle. It’s reserve price is 40,000 euros.
Meanwhile, up the road at 10 Churchlands, Manorcunningham, a detached four bedroom house extending to approximately 157 square metres is going under the hammer with a reserve of 70,000 euros.
In North Inishowen a detached four bedroom house at Chapel View, Templemoyle, Culdaff, is being offered at 60,000 euros; a detached three bedroom house at Coolcross View, also in Templemoyle, is being offered at 30,000 euros; and a semi-detached three bedroom house at 19 Donagh Park, Carndonagh, is being offered at just 25,000 euros.
There are also properties at Castlefin, Letterkenny, Ballyshannon and Bundoran.
And a remarkable four bedroom house at Largy outside Killybegs, with spectacular views overlooking Donegal Bay, is being auctioned with a reserve of 90,000 euros.
