Police investigate offensive graffiti

Police in Strabane are appealing for information after a report of criminal damage at the Napple Road area.

It was reported that an offensive slogan was painted on a pipe in a car park in the area. The relevant authorities have been notified to remove the slogan. It is believed the slogan had been in the area for a number of days. Enquiries are continuing.

At this stage, police are treating the incident as a hate crime.
