A Claudy motorist clocked by the PSNI driving at 125 mph on the motorway because he allegedly urgently needed to use the toilet, was fined £200 at Antrim Magistrates Court and banned from driving for four months.
In the dock was James Maitland (29), of Clagan Cottages, who admitted speeding on June 4.
A solicitor said it had been a ridiculous speed.
“He had been to Tandragee and was coming back up the motorway and needed to go to the toilet very, very urgently,” he said.
A £15 offender levy was also imposed.
