Jobs safe at HML Derry, says Computershare, as it confirms Glasgow closure.

Back in July, when the firm announced the proposed closure, staff at HML’s Branch Road site expressed concerns their jobs may have been under threat.

In a statement the firm said: “No other sites are affected at this point in time.”

It added: “On July 21 we notified colleagues at our Glasgow office of our proposal to close the site due to the exit of a key client.

“Since that time we have undertaken a collective and individual consultation process and the outcome is that the office will close by the end of March 2017.

“We thank all colleagues for the high levels of professionalism they have shown during this process and for their hard work to date.”
