THE annual general meeting of Claudy Credit Union will be held on Tuesday, November 25.
The AGM will start at 8pm in Cumber House.
A light supper, bingo and a draw will follow the meeting.
CREGGAN Country Park has organised a series of short talks on energy issues relevant to organisations.
Sessions are available during Nov/Dec from 12.30pm-1.30pm for schools, community groups, small businesses and the general public.
Pick up practical tips on how to supplement the curriculum for free, decrease energy costs or learn how to find funding for alternative energy systems.
They know you don't have all day so have packaged each talk into a 1 hour bite size session that includes lunch.

The monthly meeting of Newbuildings and District Archaeological and Historical Society takes place in the local community-centre on Wednesday 19th November at 7.30 pm. Barrie Hartwell of the Department of Archaeology at Queens will speak on "The Derry Megaliths" Neolithis tombs are amongst the oldest and most durble of the Irish landscape. This talk shows how to identify and interpret them, looks at some local examples and shows how atitudes to death were as varied 5000 years ago as they are today.
DPP Public Meeting
THE next public meeting of Derry District Policing Partnership will be held in the Conference Suite, Da Vinci's Hotel, Culmore Road on Friday, November 21, at 10am.
At this meeting the PSNI Area Commander will present his six-monthly report (April - September) on policing within the District.
Members of the public are welcome to attend all public meetings of the DPP, which offers the opportunity to observe the Area Commander's response to questions posed by members of the DPP. This meeting will also provide a chance for local people to present their views on policing and will provide a platform for members of the public to question the Area Commander, through the Chairperson of the DPP.
A BLOOD donation session will be held in Strabane on Monday, November 24.
It will be held at St Patrick's Hall, Barrack Street, from 1.30pm to 4pm, and again from 5.15pm to 8pm.
Everyone is urged to go along, as they may help save lives.

THE Northern Ireland Women's European Platform and FWIN have issued an open invitation to women in the north west to attend a Conference to give them the opportunity to contribute and find out more about European issues.
Entitled Women Connecting to Europe in 3D, it will take place on Wednesday, November 26 from 9.30am to1pm. Lunch included.

Christmas Charity Bingo
A CHRISTMAS Charity Bingo Night will be held in the Old Clondermot High School (use East Avenue gate) on Monday 1st December at 7.30pm.
All proceeds from the event will go to support two very worthy charities Parkinson's Decease Society and St Vincent De Paul.

Flag day thanks
THE Friends of Altnagelvin have thanked the general public for their generous response to their flag day, held on August 14, which raised 1,020.
Eglinton Women's Institute
The November meeting had a cookery theme with Mr Stephen Callaghan, a local chef, preparing a fantastic variety of Christmas dishes for the members to sample, which they did, enthusiastically! The competition prize, a decorated bun, was won by new member Mrs Roberta Montgomery, with Mrs Day Dunlop and Mrs Jean Robinson coming 2nd and 3rd. The evening concluded with members singing the Country Woman's Song.
KILDOAG Social Club will host its annual sale in Kildoag Orange Hall on Saturday, November 29, at 7.30pm. Stalls: rickety wheel and cakes. All welcome.

ARDINARIFF Historical and Cultural Society will be hosting a dance in Ardinariff Orange Hall this Friday, November 21. Dancing will take place between 9.30pm and 12.30pm. Music by The Glensiders. Admission is 4 including supper. Everyone is welcome.
LIMAVADY Ulster Unionist Party Division will hold its Annual General Meeting at Unionist Party headquarters in Irish Green Street, Limavady, on Friday, November 21, at 8pm. Guest speaker will be John McCallister Assembly Member for South Down. Everyone is welcome.
THE next meeting of the Roe Valley Gardening Society is on Thursday, November 27, in the Roe Valley Leisure Centre in Greystone Road, Limavady, beginning at 7.30 pm.
The speaker will be Mr Mark Smyth. Mr Smyth is well known in Ulster's gardening world for his educational talks - usually on the subject of spring bulbs. This time his topic will be the puzzling question "When is a Geranium not a Geranium?" We may expect some excellent photography.
The members' competition for the evening will be "A House Plant." Last month's winner was Mrs Sally Lewis who had braved the wind and rain for her arrangement "Picked from the Wild."
There will be a plant stall for members to bring along any garden related materials. All those interested in gardening are very welcome. Refreshments will be available at the close of the meeting.
THE forum will host a 'Sharing the Learning' Workshop for community groups this morning in the Drummond Hotel Ballykelly 10am to 12.30pm.
This workshop is aimed at community groups who would like to learn about developing community based social economy projects which will strengthen their future sustainability.
This workshop session will also focus of the important role that social economy projects as part of wider community development.
St Andrew's Night Concert
LIMAVADY and District Ulster Scots Group will host a St Andrew's Night Concert in Limavady High School on Friday, November 28, at 8pm.
Featuring Ivan and Hilary Black, Blazing Saddles and Kenny Archer - Singer and compere. Admission is 5. Everyone is welcome.
