Burglars fled empty handed, says PSNI

Two burglars disturbed by a man in his flat in Londonderry on Wednesday, May 27, fled empty-handed.

Detectives in Strand Road in Derry are investigating the burglary that occurred in the Carnhill area of the city.

Detective Constable Tony Douglas said that during the incident at about 10pm a man returned to his flat and disturbed two people inside the property. They ran off and nothing was stolen.
